Bay Path College, a pioneer in innovative academic programs since 1897, as well as an institution ranked in the top tier by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking experienced adjunct faculty member to teach 12 week, on-line Special Education graduate course entitled Classroom Management for Learners with Special Needs in Inclusive Settings. Students enrolled in this course are all seeking graduate degrees in special education.

On-Line course dates: June 20, 2011 to October 1, 2011.

Focuses on the basic principles and approaches for the effective management of behavior for learners with special needs. Emphasizes preventive discipline, classroom environments, and techniques effective with learners with diverse needs and abilities and strategies for behavior management in multicultural settings.

Qualifications: Doctorate required. Extensive experience in special education working with learners required. Experience teaching online required. Course evaluations and course syllabus will be requested. Previous graduate college teaching experience required.
