Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design is preparing to launch an online Master of Arts degree in Design Thinking + Leadership. This innovative, 33-credit hour degree is designed for professionals who seek to develop expertise in critical thinking, design thinking and innovative leadership. The degree empowers students in multiple professional fields to create connections between traditional leadership and new ways of seeing, interpreting and planning for entrepreneurial approaches. Students learn to investigate and apply advanced knowledge in creative thinking and innovative processes to advance organizational structure, leadership, and business practices. Two tracks are available: a) Design Thinking and Innovation and b) Sustainability.

The College seeks part-time, adjunct Faculty / Subject Matter Experts to work with RMCAD faculty to support curriculum design and development. Curriculum designers will be considered for full time faculty positions as they become available.

Applicants who will work remotely must be able to fully meet the requirements of the appointment, and be available as needed for synchronous meetings.

General Description of Appointment:

To accomplish the responsibilities of this position, successful applicant must:

· Have a record of successful experience teaching nontraditional, adult students in the fully online environment, and be able to cultivate a faculty culture of best practices, peer review, and excellence in online teaching and learning.
· Collaboratively write and review curriculum with RMCAD Faculty. Work with the College Curriculum Committee to develop program curriculum and create assessments for measurement of learning outcomes.
· Develop online course content for assigned courses, in accordance with online development procedures and guidelines.

Experience and Educational Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

· Earned doctorate degree or MFA in Leadership, Sustainable Studies, Communications / Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of online teaching experience at the postsecondary level.
· Experience teaching graduate students and supervising research.
