We are currently have an exciting opportunity for a part time, freelance Manuscript Reviewer specializing in US History. As a Manuscript Reviewer you will work closely with our U.S. History Content Developers to review and critique the homework problems they create. This is a freelance, off-site position.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Review each problem set created by our U.S. History Content Developers for completeness and correctness.
- Check the writing style to make sure questions are written in the best possible way.
- Ensure different variations of questions match the textbook seamlessly.
Basic Qualifications Required:
- Master's degree in American History (or similar)
- Excellent knowledge of grammar and command of the English language
- Experience teaching undergraduate courses in American History
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Computer savvy with the ability to pick up technical skills quickly
- Bright, hard-working, flexible, dedicated, and team-focused self starter
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD in American History
- Editorial / writing experience
