Embanet-Compass has partnered with an established, well-respected university to offer a Master of Health Administration program online. The modules are taught by faculty who have both the academic background and practical expertise necessary to deliver comprehensive education in eight modules, each a combination of two MHA courses.
Position Summary:
We are currently accepting applications for Online Facilitators who have both teaching and field experience appropriate to teach the upcoming module in leadership and human resource management that covers:
*principles of organization behavior and organization development to identify problems and propose solution
*change management and conflict
*Identification and leadership of stakeholders to common vision that manages quality of care and supports strategic goals
*Optimization of performance of a diverse workforce through leadership of human resource policies, processes, and practices.
Module Start Date: March 28th, 2011
Module End Date: June 5th, 2011
Students in our online modules are grouped into sections of typically 25 students each. Each section is assigned a facilitator who moderates online discussions, answers module-related questions, and provides weekly online office hours. Facilitators grade homework and exams, and make recommendations for final module grades. Facilitators are coordinated and advised by a lead faculty member for their assigned module.
Facilitators are employed directly by Embanet-Compass Knowledge Group as consultants, and sign a consulting contract with Embanet-Compass Knowledge Group prior to working as a facilitator.
Important Note: Eligible candidates cannot be teaching in another online MHA program during the term of the Module.
Qualifications:
Requires a Doctorate, or equivalent, in health administration or a discipline relevant to the module being facilitated; 5 years working experience in the health field; previous higher education teaching experience; experience in online instruction preferred.
