General Summary
The successful candidates for part-time teaching positions, and student teaching and counseling supervisors, in the School of Education will work closely with the Dean of the School of Education and Department Chairs or Program Directors (PD) to teach numerous courses in ten (10) education programs that represent industry best practices. The School of Education is experiencing dramatic growth and we are seeking dedicated teachers to teach specific courses, and student teaching and counseling supervisors to mentor our students. We seek candidates who have a terminal degree and professional experiences in the following program areas:

M.Ed. Teaching: Instructional Leadership Program courses including:
Education, Law, Ethics, and Politics
Classroom Management
Curriculum Design
Measurement and Evaluation
Adult Learning Theory
Observation Techniques for Diagnostic and Intervention
Education, Law, Ethics, and Politics
Classroom Management
Curriculum Design
Measurement and Evaluation

Essential Job Functions
* Prepare course curriculum, encourage and facilitate interactive class discussions
* Advise and mentor students
* Interact with an academically and culturally diverse student population
* Submit grades and applicable documents in a timely manner
* Promote retention and enrollment growth within the program(s)
* Attend University and department faculty meetings
* Continue professional development and scholarly research in area(s) of expertise
* Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
* Doctoral/Terminal Degree in Education (from a regionally accredited university/college)
* Teaching at the university level and/or equivalent experience
* Experienced and or willing to teach online
* Flexible to teach day, evening, and or weekends
* Publications and promising scholarly activity
* Computer skills and proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Pass background and reference checks
