Based in Phoenix, the regionally accredited, private, non-denominational Christian university offers online and campus-based bachelors, masters and doctoral degree programs through the College of Doctoral Studies, Ken Blanchard College of Business, College of Education, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, College of Liberal Arts and College of Fine Arts and Production.
Grand Canyon University invites applications for open online adjunct faculty positions within the College of Health Science. We are looking for individuals who have an enthusiasm to share their knowledge with undergraduate students at our University.
The Adjunct for the College of Health Sciences (online classes) will provide instruction that incorporates current teaching methodologies, technologies, and other trends that reflect advances in specific areas of the discipline associated with the individual's teaching assignment.
Immediate needs in the areas of Polysomnography, Quality Improvement in Respiratory Care and Respiratory Care Critical III.
Recently Grand Canyon University's tuition benefit program has been expanded to include our Adjunct Faculty as follows:
* Undergraduate and Graduate: 50% tuition benefit
* Doctoral: 33% tuition benefit
* Maximum benefit not to exceed $5,250 for graduate or doctoral programs
Requirements:
· Master's required
· Minimum of 2 years experience as an administrator in Respiratory Therapy
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
* Teaches one or more subjects within prescribed curriculum.
* Compiles bibliographies of specialized materials for outside reading assignments.
* Stimulates class discussions.
* Compiles, administers, and grades examinations, or assigns this work to others.
* Remains current with new trends and development in his/her field of expertise.
* Other duties as assigned.
