UAT Online provides students and faculty all over the world with a unique, relevant, and enjoyable academic experience by placing them at the center of their discipline's best thinkers and most cutting-edge topics. Currently we are recruiting for an Adjunct Associate Professor of Game Design.

The Game Design program focuses on the design principles, skills and techniques required to create the systems, design documents and prototypes for complete game projects. Courses will emphasize design skills such as strong initial concepts, game documentation, game balance and play-testing, interactive storytelling and interface design.

The Game Design program will also develop a critical approach to the study of gameplay, interaction and design. In a team-based environment, design students will work with artists and programmers to create completed projects. Game Design students will also be exposed to all the tools of the trade, as well as programming and art skill sets. This well-rounded approach provides students with a deep understanding of all aspects in the game creation process.

Skills/ Requirements
* Graduate degree in a game design-related field or a graduate degree with at least 18 credits in a game design-related field
* Passionate about teaching game design to college technology students
* Experience in thesis review as well as research methods
* Web & tech savvy to navigate and instruct in the online classroom

* Assist students in achieving completion of objectives and learning outcomes.

* Incorporate Biblical principles into their content area
* Communicate with all IWU constituents in a professional and academic manner

* Respond to student questions within 24 hours of requests.
* Grade student assignments, giving substantive feedback and critical evaluation, within one week of the due date for the assignment.
* Maintain and report student grades and attendance in accordance with university policies
* Fulfill three faculty development sessions per year.
* Complete other tasks as assigned.
